Serhat Çağlar (born July 11, 1988 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper in the service of Göztepe Izmir .
Career
Çağlar began club football in the youth of the amateur club Gençlik Ve Spor İl Müdürlüğü SK and moved in 2005 to the youth of Göztepe Izmir . In spring 2009 he received a professional contract here and was then accepted into the professional squad. By the end of the season, he completed a cup and a league game for this. After he sat on the bench for the first half of the next season, he was loaned to third division club İnegölspor for the second half .
In the summer of 2011 he was diagnosed with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura . He then spent a large part of the upcoming season in treatment and stayed away from the game.
For the 2012/13 season he was added to the team's squad as the third goalkeeper.
