José de la Trinidad Valera Angulo (born September 3, 1947 in San Lázaro , Trujillo State , Venezuela ) is a Venezuelan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Guanare .

Life

José de la Trinidad Valera Angulo was ordained a priest on August 2, 1975 . On February 15, 1997, John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Caracas, Santiago de Venezuela and titular bishop of Mozotcori .

He received his episcopal ordination on April 19th of the same year by the Archbishop of Caracas, Santiago de Venezuela , Antonio Ignacio Velasco García SDB ; Co- consecrators were Miguel Antonio Salas Salas CIM , Old Archbishop of Mérida , and Vicente Ramón Hernández Peña , Bishop of Trujillo .

On October 18, 2001, he was appointed Bishop of La Guaira . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Guanare on October 12, 2011 .
