Klaus Landa (born March 26, 1974 ) is an Austrian historian , Germanist and social scientist as well as managing director of the Association of Upper Austrian Museums .

Live and act

Klaus Landa grew up in Perg and studied at the Paris-Lodron University in Salzburg . He completed his history studies in 2004 with a dissertation on the subject of “ Lord and priest”. The representatives of secular and spiritual power from the point of view of their contemporaries in the Middle Ages and the present ”. Professionally, he initially worked as a trainer in adult education and as a freelance publishing editor for several Austrian publishers.

He gained organizational experience as a curator and exhibition organizer at Lambach Abbey . He was responsible for the conception and implementation of the anniversary exhibition Im Fluss - am Fluss - 950 Years of Lambach Abbey in 2006 and the permanent exhibition that opened in 2007.

Landa has been running the virtual museum forum oö history since 2007 . Since mid-2011 he has been Chairman of the Association of regional and local history in Folk Culture Forum Upper Austria and since 1 January 2012, managing director of the association of Upper Austrian museums.
