The Diocese of La Guaira ( Latin Dioecesis Guairiensis , Spanish diócesis de La Guaira ) is in Venezuela situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in La Guaira . It includes the state of Vargas .

history

Pope Paul VI established the diocese on April 15, 1970 with the Apostolic Constitution Cum summus from part of the territory of the Archdiocese of Caracas , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
