The Bistum Carora ( lat. : Dioecesis Carorensis ) is an in Venezuela preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Carora . It covers part of the state of Lara .
history
Pope John Paul II founded the diocese on July 25, 1992 with the Apostolic Constitution Certiori christifidelium from cession of territory from the Archdiocese of Barquisimeto , to which it was subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
