Luis Armando Tineo Rivera (born May 10, 1948 in Caracas , Venezuela ) is a Venezuelan clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Carora .

Life

The Archbishop of Caracas , José Alí Lebrún Moratinos , ordained him on July 26, 1980 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 9, 2007 auxiliary bishop in Caracas and titular bishop of Horrea Coelia . The Archbishop of Caracas, Santiago de Venezuela , Jorge Liberato Cardinal Urosa Savino , donated him episcopal ordination on April 28 of the same year ; Co -consecrators were Archbishop Giacinto Berloco , Apostolic Nuncio in Venezuela , and Ubaldo Ramón Santana Sequera FMI , Archbishop of Maracaibo .

On July 23, 2013, Pope Francis appointed Tineo Rivera Bishop of Carora. On June 23, 2020, Pope Francis accepted his early resignation.
