Mariano José Parra Sandoval

Mariano José Parra Sandoval (born April 25, 1947 in Maracaibo ) is a Venezuelan clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Coro .

Life

Mariano José Parra Sandoval was ordained a priest on August 14, 1971 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of San Fernando de Apure on July 12, 1994 . The Archbishop of Cumaná , Alfredo José Rodríguez Figueroa , gave him episcopal ordination on April 19 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Mario del Valle Moronta Rodríguez , auxiliary bishop in Caracas, Santiago de Venezuela , and Roberto Lückert León , bishop of Coro .

On July 10, 2001, he was appointed bishop of Ciudad Guayana .

Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Coro on October 25, 2016.
