The Bistum Ciudad Guiana ( lat. : Dioecesis Civitatis Guayanensis ) is an in Venezuela preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Ciudad Guiana .
history
The diocese of Ciudad Guayana was established on August 20, 1979 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Cum nos from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Ciudad Bolívar and subordinated to this as a suffragan .
