The Bistum Maracay ( lat. : Dioecesis Maracayensis ) is an in Venezuela preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Maracay . It includes the state of Aragua .
history
Pope Pius XII founded the Diocese of Maracay with the Apostolic Constitution Qui Supremi Pontificatus on June 21, 1958 from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Calabozo and Archdiocese of Valencia en Venezuela , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
