Reinaldo del Prette Lissot (born February 17, 1952 in Valencia ) is Archbishop of Valencia en Venezuela .

Life

The Archbishop of Valencia en Venezuela, Luis Eduardo Henríquez Jiménez , ordained him a priest on August 15, 1976 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Valencia en Venezuela and titular bishop of Altava on December 24, 1993 . The Archbishop of Valencia en Venezuela, Jorge Liberato Urosa Savino , donated him episcopal ordination on February 5th of the next year; Co- consecrators were Alfredo José Rodríguez Figueroa , Archbishop of Cumaná , and Nelson Antonio Martinez Rust , Bishop of San Felipe .

On April 24, 1997, he was appointed coadjutor bishop of Maracay . After José Vicente Henriquez Andueza's SDB retired , he succeeded him on February 5, 2003 as Bishop of Maracay. Benedict XVI. appointed him on April 10, 2007 Archbishop of Valencia en Venezuela. As Apostolic Administrator, he administered the diocese of Puerto Cabello between April 2010 and April 2011 and the diocese of San Carlos de Venezuela from March 2014 to June 2016 .
