Nelson Antonio Martinez Rust
Nelson Antonio Martinez Rust (born June 10, 1944 in Puerto Cabello ) is a Venezuelan clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of San Felipe .
Life
Nelson Antonio Martinez Rust was ordained a priest on December 15, 1968 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Valencia en Venezuela and titular bishop of Bararus on January 8, 1982 . He was ordained episcopal on March 25th of the same year by the Archbishop of Valencia en Venezuela, Luis Eduardo Henríquez Jiménez ; Co- consecrators were José Alí Cardinal Lebrún Moratinos , Archbishop of Caracas , and Feliciano González Ascanio , Bishop of Maracay .
On February 29, 1992 he was appointed Bishop of San Felipe .
Pope Francis accepted his early resignation on March 11, 2016.
