Hugo Hartmann
Hugo Hartmann (born March 12, 1862 in Portschweit , Stuhm district , † June 19, 1907 in Marienburg , West Prussia ) was a German teacher and organist. He was the composer of the West Prussian song .
Life
Hartmann worked as a teacher and organist in Stegers , Schlochau district until 1885 , and later at the Catholic parish school in Marienburg . As an autodidact , he specialized in the piano and held major music events in Elblag and Gdansk.
After his death he was buried in the great clergy catholic cemetery in Marienburg.
