The diocese Guasdualito is in Venezuela situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Guasdualito .


Pope Francis established the diocese of Guasdualito on December 3, 2015 from cessions of territory from the dioceses of San Fernando de Apure and Barinas . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Mérida as a suffragan diocese. Pablo Modesto González Pérez SDB was appointed first diocesan bishop .


The area of ​​the diocese includes the municipalities José Antonio de Páez, Rómulo Gallegos and Muñoz, which belong to the state of Apure , and the municipality of Andrés Eloy Blanco , which belongs to the state of Barinas .
