The Diocese of Los Teques ( Latin Dioecesis Tequinensis , Spanish diócesis de Los Teques ) is in Venezuela situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Los Teques . It covers part of the state of Miranda .

history

Pope Paul VI founded the diocese of Los Teques with the Apostolic Constitution Amorillo on July 23, 1965 from cessions of territory from the Archdiocese of Caracas , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.

On November 30, 1996 it lost part of its territory to the diocese of Guarenas .
