The Diocese of Guarenas ( Latin Dioecesis Guarenensis , Spanish diócesis de Guarenas ) is in Venezuela situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Guarenas . It covers part of the state of Miranda .

history

Pope John Paul II founded the diocese on November 30, 1996 with the Apostolic Constitution Maiori Christifidelium from cession of territory from the diocese of Los Teques and made it subordinate to the Archdiocese of Caracas as a suffragan diocese .
