The Bistum Maturín ( latin Dioecesis Maturinensis ) is an in Venezuela preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Maturin . It includes the state of Monagas .
history
Pope Pius XII founded the diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Qui Supremi Pontificatus on June 21, 1958 from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Calabozo and Archdiocese of Valencia en Venezuela , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
