The Diocese of Valle de la Pascua ( lat. : Dioecesis Vallispaschalensis ) is in Venezuela situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Valle de la Pascua . It includes the Leonardo Infante , José Tadeo Monagas , José Félix Ribas and Pedro Zaraza districts of the Guárico state .
history
Pope John Paul II founded the diocese of Valle de la Pascua with the Apostolic Constitution Cum ad aptius on July 25, 1992 from cession of territory by the Diocese of Calabozo and was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Caracas as a suffragan diocese.
With the elevation of the Diocese of Calabozo to the Metropolitan Archdiocese on June 17, 1995, it became part of the new ecclesiastical province.
