Ulises Antonio Gutiérrez Reyes OdeM (born April 29, 1951 in Pedregal ) is Archbishop of Ciudad Bolívar in Venezuela .

Life

Ulises Antonio Gutiérrez Reyes joined the religious community of Mercedarians and was ordained a priest on December 27, 1977 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Carora on December 5, 2003 and he was instituted on March 6 of the following year.

The Archbishop of Coro , Roberto Lückert León , donated him episcopal ordination on February 27 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Mario del Valle Moronta Rodríguez , Bishop of San Cristóbal de Venezuela , and Eduardo Herrera Riera , former Bishop of Carora.

On August 27, 2011, he was appointed Archbishop of Ciudad Bolívar .
