Raúl Biord Castillo
Raúl Biord Castillo SDB (born October 23, 1962 in Caracas , Venezuela ) is Bishop of La Guaira .
Life
Raúl Biord Castillo joined the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco and made temporary profession on August 16, 1980 . He made his perpetual profession on September 8, 1989. BIORD Castillo received on July 15 in 1989 by the President of the Pontifical Commission for the Authentic Interpretation of the Code of Canon Law , Rosalio Cardinal Lara SDB, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On November 30, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of La Guaira. The Archbishop of Tegucigalpa , Cardinal Óscar Rodríguez Maradiaga SDB, donated him episcopal ordination on February 8, 2014 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Caracas , Cardinal Jorge Urosa , and the Archbishop of Mérida , Baltazar Porras .
