Series del Caribe 2012

The Serie del Caribe 2012 was the 54th edition of the Caribbean Club Championship in baseball. It took place from February 2 to 7, 2012 at the Estadio Quisqueya in Santo Domingo , Dominican Republic . Participants were the Masters from Mexico , Puerto Rico , Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. The Leones del Escogido from the Dominican Republic won the Caribbean title for the fourth time. The tournament victory was already clear after the first game on the penultimate day. A double round was played, so twice everyone against everyone. If there was a tie in first place, there would have been a playoff. This was last the case in 2003. This year's participant Indios de Mayagüez has already participated in such a playoff three times (victory in 1992, defeats in 1999 and 2003).
