Serkan Şirin (born June 23, 1990 in Ordu ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
Club career
Serkan Şirin started club football in the youth MKE Ankaragücü . In the summer of 2009 he received a professional contract but continued to play mainly for the reserve team.
For the 2009/10 season he was loaned to the third division club Mardinspor . The second half of the 2010/11 season he also spent as a loan player at the fourth division Diyarbakır Büyükşehir Belediyespor .
After Ankaragücü got into financial difficulties in the first few weeks of the season and could not pay the players' salaries for a long time, many players split. Şirin was then brought back prematurely and played a total of twelve times in the second half of the season due to the lack of players.
In the summer of 2014 he moved to the second division Boluspor and played for them for one season.
