The Serro houses in Kempten

The listed Serrohäuser are a series of small houses for employees of the former prince monastery in Kempten . You are between the St. Lorenz Church and the Marstall on Landwehrstraße. The old brewery and the new brewery as well as the Kornhaus are nearby .

Description and history

The serro houses are two-storey houses with a saddle roof and a plaster structure. The houses were built by Johann Serro , after whom they were named, between 1664 and 1665. A narrow wing on the eaves connects the similar houses.
