Sean and Dorothy are a successful couple from Philadelphia. Sean advises restaurants as a top chef, Dorothy is a successful television reporter. Her 13-week-old son Jericho is killed in a tragedy. Since Dorothy cannot cope with the loss, the dead son is replaced by a realistic doll. The action begins when the couple hires young nanny Leanne, who acts like the doll is a living child. This is how mysterious events take their course.
