Servius Calpurnius Domitius Dexter
Servius Calpurnius Domitius Dexter was a third century Roman politician and senator .
Dexter was probably from Italy. His father was perhaps a Calpurnius Maximus who was a suffect consul in 203 or 204 . Before his praetoric career he was triumvir monetalis ( mint master ), held the quaestor as the emperor's candidate and then the praetur for guardianship matters.
Around 180 Dexter became street curator of Via Aemilia . The trustee was probably the only office of Dexter between his praetur and the consulate , apart from his legacy to a proconsul of Asia . In 225 Dexter became a full consul. Dexter also held the priesthood of Quindecimvir sacris faciundis (as magister collegii ).
