The Setra S 315 HDH ( H och d ecker- H och) is a 300 series touring coach from the manufacturer Setra .
history
The S 315 HDH was presented to the public for the first time in 1991 together with the normal-height high-deckers of the Setra 300 series, which was then newly released, the S 315 HD and the shorter S 309 HD , as the higher high-decker of this new series in Ulm's Danube Hall. In 1992 the S 315HDH was voted Coach of the Year 1993. In 1997 the three-axle and slightly higher S 315 HDH-3 followed as the direct successor to the S 215 HDH . To distinguish it from the three-axle vehicle, the two-axle vehicle is also referred to as the S 315 HDH-2.
In the variant with a more powerful engine (V8 with 320 kW), additional air slots are attached to the rear of the engine cover (circled in red in the picture).
