Seymore Butts (* 18th March 1964 in New York City as Adam Glasser ) is an American porn star and porn film director.

Career

Butts has directed, produced and sometimes acted in porn films. Overall, he was involved in the creation of hundreds of Gonzo-style porn films and is considered one of the most outstanding personalities in the industry. His career began with supporting roles in the late 1980s, including a film in the "Buttman" series by John Stagliano , hence Glasser's stage name Seymore Butts . In the early 1990s he began producing his own films.

Since 2003 his own life, as well as the life of his relatives working for him, has been the subject of a reality TV show called Family Business . The show also shows u. a. his mother Lila Glasser and his nephew Stevie Glasser , both employed in the said "family business". Glasser uses his real name on the show, and the camera also rotates when he B. has to give his son the meal. His mother Taylor Hayes does not appear regularly.

Glasser is known for sometimes having women in his films with whom he also interacts outside of the film: u. a. In 2004, Seymore Butts was portrayed as one of 30 well-known porn stars by American photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders in his book XXX: 30 Porn-Star Portraits and his HBO documentary Thinking XXX .

Court cases

From 2001 to 2002 there was an obscenity legal case against Glasser ( People of the State of California v. Adam Glasser, et al. ). It was about one of his 1999 films called Tampa Tushy Fest , which also included fisting . This direction, which already existed in European pornography, was still taboo in America.
