The Seyra , Saira or Seir were in weight measure in India on the Coromandel Coast , Pondichery and on the island of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf for gold and silver goods.

  • Generally 1 Seyra = 16 Xatague = 500 pagodas = 278 grams
  • Hormuz Island 1 Seyra = 303 grams
