Seyyid Vehbi
Hüseyin Seyyid Vehbî (* 1674 ?; † 1736 ) was an Ottoman poet.
His main work is the surnâme-i Vehbî , a festival book from 1720, which describes the 15-day circumcision ceremony of the sons of Sultan Ahmed III. describes.
Furthermore, Seyyid Vehbî won the tender for the verses on the well of Ahmed III. in front of the Topkapı Palace .
On the Yedikule gate of the land wall there is also an inscription from him, which Ahmed III. in the course of the restoration of the wall after an earthquake.
