Shōhei Sakaguchi ( Japanese 坂 口 昇平 , Sakaguchi Shōhei ) is a former Japanese ski jumper .

Sakaguchi jumped in the Ski Jumping World Cup for the first time on December 30, 1986 . In the opening competition of the Four Hills Tournament 1986/87 , however, he only reached the 87th place in Oberstdorf . He was also unsuccessful in the other jumps, so that after the tour he retired from the international ski jumping business for six years and only competed nationally. In January 1992 he appeared again for the first time in a World Cup competition and jumped to 31st place in Sapporo . In 1993 he was accepted into the team for the Ski Jumping Continental Cup and was able to win 99 points there in the 1993/94 season, placing him 72nd in the overall Continental Cup ranking. In January 1994 he was able to win his first and only World Cup points when jumping in Sapporo with 21st place on the normal hill, with which he finished 78th in the overall World Cup ranking at the end of the season.
