Lamo incarnation line
The Lamo incarnation line ( tib. La mo sku phreng ), whose later representatives usually go by the name Shabdrung Karpo (tib. Zhabs drung dkar po , chin. Xiarong Gabu 夏 茸 尕 布 or Baifo "White Buddha") or (mong .) Chaghan Nominhan or Lamo Shabdrung Karpo (tib. La mo zhabs drung dkar po ) or similar is a series of incarnations of the Gelugpa monastery Lamo Dechen (tib. La mo bde chen ) in Amdo . The first representative, Tshognyi Gyatsho , came from central Tibet and proselytized among the Mongol princes in Amdo. The third representative in this series, Ngawang Lobsang Tenpe Gyeltshen , founded the Gelugpa Monastery in 1682.
