Lamo Dechen Monastery
The Lamo Dechen monastery or Lamo Dechen Chökhorling ( tib . : la mo bde chen chos' khor gling ) or Dechen monastery or Lamo Dechen Gön ( tib . : la mo bde chen dgon ) is an important monastery of the Gelug - School of Tibetan Buddhism ( Vajrayana ) in the Rongwo area of central Amdo.
It is located in Jainca County (Tib. Centsha) in the east of the Chinese province of Qinghai , which belongs to the administrative area of the Huangnan Autonomous District of the Tibetans .
The monastery was founded in 1682 by the 3rd Lamo Rinpoche Ngawang Lobsang Tenpe Gyeltshen (1660-1728).
