Shamsul Islam Khan (born March 9, 1978 in Quetta ) is a former Pakistani squash player .

Career

Shamsul Islam Khan began his career in 1997 and won three titles on the PSA World Tour . He was active until 2009 and played a few tournaments until 2012. His highest placing in the world ranking was 39th in October 2005. With the Pakistani national team he took in 2001 at the World Cup in part. In the individual he was in the main draw of the World Cup in 1998 , 1999 and 2003 , his best performance was reaching the second round in 1999. In 2000 he was runner- up with the Pakistani team . In the singles he reached the semifinals. Khan was part of the Pakistani squad at the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games .
