description

The building is at the end of a short, unpaved road that branches off the B9140 in a southerly direction. Tillicoultry itself is around 1.5 kilometers northwest. The Devonknowes Farmhouse is another listed farmhouse in the vicinity. The exact construction date of the Shannockhill Farmhouse is not known. However, the early 19th century can be given as the construction period. In the north-facing front there are two windows that surround the central entrance door. An architrave sits above the door, which has a rectangular skylight . The windows are set off with bezels . An annex with a window on the west side is more recent.
