The Shannon Lagoon is a lake in the center of the Australian state of Tasmania .
The lake is located in the central highlands, immediately south of the Great Lake . The Shannon River flows through it. The settlement of Miena is not far from its northern bank . The Lake Highway (A5) also runs there.
