Shanyang (Jiaozuo)
The Shanyang District ( Chinese 山阳 区 , Pinyin Shānyáng Qū ) belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Jiaozuo in the Chinese province of Henan . It has an area of 74.4 km² and has a population of around 250,000 (2002). It is the center and seat of the Jiaozuo city government.
