Mengzhou

The city of Mengzhou ( Chinese 孟州市 , Pinyin Mèngzhōu Shì ) is an independent city in the Chinese province of Henan . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Jiaozuo . Mengzhou has an area of 542 km² and a population of 370,000.
The tomb of Han Yu (Han Yu mu 韩愈 墓) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-264) since 2006 .
