The TVR Sagaris is a sports car from the British car manufacturer TVR .

The Sagaris was presented at the MPH Auto Show in 2003. The finished car was shown for the first time in 2004 at the Birmingham Auto Show. That same year it was on sale from dealers for around £ 50,000. Based on the TVR T350 , the Sagaris was designed with long-distance racing in mind. Various peculiarities showed TVR's intention to use the car in such races. The many air inlets made it possible to use it in long-distance races without extensive modifications for cooling.

TVR's in-line six-cylinder engine (SpeedSix) with a displacement of 3996 cm³ drives the car. It develops 296 kW (400 hp) at 7000 rpm and delivers the maximum torque of 451 Nm at 5250 rpm. The engine has no knock sensors, so 98-ROZ-SuperPlus should be driven.

TVR ignores the agreement of the European automobile manufacturers on the installation of anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and front airbags and does not equip the Sagaris with them either. There is also no electronic vehicle dynamics control (electronic stability program, ESP).

The name Sagaris comes from an originally Scythian battle ax .
