The TVR Chimaera is an open, two-seat sports car , the TVR in Blackpool ( England produced) Regulations 1992 by 2003. The name is derived from the chimera , a monster of Greek mythology, which is composed of parts of different animals.
The car has the same tubular space frame and the same variants of the Rover V8 engine as the Griffith . The Chimaera was supposed to be a touring car and was therefore longer, had more space and a slightly softer set-up than the Griffith.
