Previous model 420SEAC

The TVR 450SEAC was a sports car that TVR in Blackpool ( England ) built for only one year. It had the same body made of plastic reinforced with glass and aramid fibers as its predecessor 420SEAC and the same chassis. The only difference was in the larger engine, which with a displacement of 4.4 l at 5700 rpm delivered a maximum of 320 bhp (238 kW) and 430 Nm torque at 4000 rpm. Therefore the 450SEAC was even more expensive to build than the already very expensive 420SEAC and its sales price was correspondingly higher. Only 17 copies were made. Because some wedge-shaped TVRs were retrofitted to the 450SEAC specification, there are perhaps more SEACs on the roads today than were built back then.
