Shaped Signs

Shaped Signs is a German instrumental music duo.

The band has existed since August 2002. Behind the name Shaped Signs are the two musicians Ron Grahnert from Dresden and Volker Kaufmann from Langenfeld . The first album Nature's Odyssey was released by the now defunct Langenfeld record label "Invisible Shadows", and by 2015 four more albums and one EP were released.

The music of Shaped Signs is synthesized instrumental pieces that can be ascribed to classical electronic music as well as to the genre Easy Listening . The style of the duo is sometimes reminiscent of Mike Oldfield because of the guitar sounds that are often used in the pieces .
