Dieter Haaßengier

Dieter Haaßengier (born May 30, 1934 in Demmin, Schlochau district ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Haaßengier and his parents came to Edemissen in the Preine district in 1945 , where his father set up as a doctor. In 1956 he graduated from the Ratsgymnasium in Peine and began studying law and political science in Marburg and Göttingen , which he completed in 1960 with the trainee exam and in 1965 with the assessor exam. As a government assessor from May 1965 to 1968 he was personal advisor to the Lower Saxony Minister of Education, Langeheine . In May 1968 he was appointed to the government council. From July 1968 he worked for the district president in Hanover in the municipal department. In December 1968 he took a leave of absence as a civil servant and became the first general secretary of the CDU in Lower Saxony .

Haaßengier is married and has three children.

Politician

Haaßengier was a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament for the 7th and 8th electoral periods from June 21, 1970 to February 25, 1976 and then State Secretary in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Federal Affairs from 1976 to January 1981 and from July 1982 to 1986 as well as State Secretary in the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior from July 16, 1986 to November 8, 1988.
