Hans von Könneritz

Hans Heinrich Freiherr von Könneritz (* 1864 , † 1924 ) was a German manor owner and politician .

Live and act

The eldest son of the Saxon finance minister Léonçe von Könneritz (1835–1890) and his wife Marie Violande Auguste Erdmuthe born. Countess von Beust (1845–1926) took over his manor in Erdmannsdorf after the death of his father . During his patronage, the Trinity Church in Erdmannsdorf was rebuilt in 1892/93.

From 1899 until the abolition of the monarchy in the Kingdom of Saxony as part of the November Revolution in 1918 , he was a member of the first chamber of the Saxon state parliament as the elected owner of the manor of the Erzgebirge district . He was the Saxon chamberlain and was on the board of the district poor workhouse . After his death in 1924, his brother Ferdinand Richard von Könneritz (1867–1943) took over the manor. a. Due to the inheritance dispute and the high inheritance taxes in such financial difficulties that the castle and the associated farm had to be auctioned in 1936.
