Sharyn Moffett
Patricia Sharyn Moffett (born September 12, 1936 in Alameda , California ) is an American actress . She was active as a child star in the 1940s .
Life
Moffett was born in Alameda and comes from a family of artists, her father Bob Moffett worked as a singer and her mother Gladyce Roberts as a dancer. Her younger brother is former child actor Gregory Moffett.
At the age of eight she made her film debut in the film My Pal Wolf . Here she played the main role of Gretchen Anstey under the direction of Alfred L. Werker . The following year she took on the role of Georgina Marsh in the horror film The Corpse Thief . Here she played alongside Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi . More films followed until she made her last film Her first Romance in 1951. Moffett could only be seen again in 1955 in the television series Fireside Theater . As with most child stars, adulthood ended Moffett's acting career.
