Shengzhou

The city of Shengzhou ( Chinese 嵊 州市 , Pinyin Shèngzhōu Shì ) is an independent city in the district-free city of Shaoxing in the Chinese province of Zhejiang . It has an area of 1,771 km² and has 730,000 inhabitants.
The traditional buildings of Chongrencun Village (Chongren cun jianzhuqun 崇仁 村 建筑 群) and Ma Yinchu's former residence (Ma Yinchu guju 马寅初 故居) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
