Sheriff of London Charity Shield
The Sheriff of London Charity Shield was an annual sports competition that was held in England from 1898 to 1907 between the best professional football team and the best amateur football team. The first game took place on March 19, 1898 and was replaced by the FA Community Shield in 1908 . The audience money was mostly used for good causes. The competition was held again in the 1930s and 1960s.
