Shigeru tsuyuguchi ( Japanese露 口 茂, Shigeru Tsuyuguchi ; born April 8, 1932 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese actor .

Life

Shigeru Tsuyuguchi was best known for his roles in Shōhei Imamura films . Tsuyuguchi received a White Bronze Award in 1966 for best leading actor in the films Yojôhan monogatari: Shôfu Shino and The Lake . He gained greater popularity through two television series: Mayuko hitori (1971) and Taiyô ni hoero! (1972-1986).
