Shihuadong

Shihuadong or "Stone Flower Cave" (Shihua dong 石花洞; English Stone-Flower Cave) is one of the karst caves in the Beijing district of Fangshan in the People's Republic of China , in which an unusually large number of deposits of sinter formations such as stalagmites and stalactites can be found. The place is about 50 kilometers from the city center of Beijing. Several apparitions can be admired in the cave, the "stone lotus flower in the jade pond" 瑶池 石莲 is already over 32,000 years old.

Shihuadong Geopark is on the list of national parks in the People's Republic of China .
