Shine, Jesus, Shine (also Lord, the Light of Your Love ) is a Christian worship song written by Graham Kendrick in 1987 .

The hymn was voted one of the top ten best songs of praise in the UK in a 2005 poll by the BBC .

In 2013, the song was performed as part of the Songs of Praise: The Big Sing event at the Royal Albert Hall . The specialty was that the piece was not only played by the orchestra , but, as the name suggests, the audience sang along for the entire performance.

On January 19, 2015, when Pope Francis left the Philippines at Villamor Air Base , the song was sung by children and young people from various schools and institutions.
