Graham Kendrick (born August 2, 1950 in Blisworth , Northamptonshire ) is a British worship-and-worship musician .

Life

Graham Kendrick was born in Northamptonshire to a Baptist pastor . He began training as a teacher, but has been a singer and songwriter since 1972 .

The song of praise Shine, Jesus, Shine , known and sung in many churches around the world , was written by him.

In 1995 he received the Dove Award. In 2000 he received an honorary doctorate in theology from Brunel University for his services.
