Shine ( dt. Gloss) is the eleventh album of Japanese singer Crystal Kay . The album was released in Japan on December 16, 2015 and debuted at number 10 in the first week with 8,684 units sold on the Oricon charts in Japan. It's their best-selling album since Best of Crystal Kay , in 2009.
Details about the album
Shine is Kay's second studio album, since she switched to Delicious Deli Records, a sub-label of Universal Music Japan, and finally her first album in three years. The album features her three singles Kimi ga Ita Kara , Revolution and Nando Demo , the latter only being offered digitally. The third track, Very Special, is a cover of Debra Laws and her eponymous title and at the same time Kay's version is a collaboration with singer Ryūji Imaichi, who is known as a member of the Sandaime J Soul Brothers group. In addition to the title Very Special , the collaboration with Namie Amuro, which has already been released as a single, and its remix with Sway, she also collaborated with the Japanese hip-hop singer AK-69 for the song #Heartmelt , which was classified as the eighth title.
For the first time a Blu-ray version of a studio album is being offered in their music career, which is why the studio album comes with three different covers in addition to the regular CD and CD + DVD version. These covers were created at the same time as the music video for Nando Demo , which is why Kay's appearance looks the same in the music video and on the covers.
